MONS gastronomical society

Filmmaker Cristina Zar is welcomed into her uncle's traditional Basque txoko, a private gastronomic society where meals are prepared and shared in the company of friends and family. Closely connected to the culture of Donostia and its fishing communities, these intimate spaces reveal food as something far beyond sustenance.
