Oliver's Vegetables
Do you like chips? Oliver does. In fact, he won't eat anything else...until he plays a game with his grandpa: whichever vegetable Oliver finds in the garden, he must eat it. On Monday, Oliver pulls up carrots. On Tuesday, it's spinach. With a bit of help from his grandfather, Oliver soon discovers there’s life beyond french fries.
Oliver’s Vegetables is an award-winning children’s picture book written by award-winning author Vivian French and illustrated by Alison Bartlett. Vivian is a highly successful and respected children’s author who has published over 250 books. She also conducts writing workshops for both children and adults, teaches at Edinburgh College of Art and mentors new writers and illustrators as one of the two founding members of the Picture Hooks programme.
