UNDER THE SAME SUN FESTIVAL

OPEN CALL
FOR MUSICIANS AND COLLABORATIVE ARTISTS

UK-based musicians and artists from other disciplines are invited to apply to present a collaborative performance programme at the historic County Hall on London's South Bank, as part of Under the Same Sun, the summer edition of the Four Seasons Festival.

Selected artists will perform as part of the festival programme in front of a live audience at one of London's most iconic cultural landmarks.

Bringing together music, film, visual arts, food and creative workshops, the festival celebrates collaboration, connection and the creative energy that emerges when people come together. Inspired by the idea that growth happens through shared experiences, the programme explores how artistic ideas flourish through collaboration across disciplines and generations.

Programme Proposal

Applicants are asked to submit:

  • a proposed programme
  • a short description (up to 150 words) explaining the artistic idea behind the programme and how it relates to the festival theme Under the Same Sun

The theme invites artists to think of music as a meeting point: a shared space where people, disciplines and ideas come together and grow.

  • Each video should not exceed 10 minutes
  • Videos do not need to show the exact project proposed in your application

Selection

Two projects will be selected to perform as part of the festival programme, one on each day. Successful applicants will be notified by email shortly after the application deadline. Due to the expected volume of applications, we are unable to provide individual feedback.

Applications will be assessed based on:
